...this brilliant child comes into my life--via one of my new favorite sites, MollyGood.com--and reinvigorated the Gnarls Barkley ditty.

No, for real, I hope Debbie Allen has this kid on speed dial. I'm feeling his 'graphy! Good luck not getting picked on too much junior...that damn internet!
I don't even need to say anything...just read this.

Oh and if you didn't already know, she killed it on Undeclared. Hands down.
For real, minute one of the resurrection of Christ on CNN (aka the overhyped Angelina Jolie "exclusive" interview with the Coop) had me not amused* and just begged me to catch up on Supergroup (eww...that shit is good!) . Gawker though did their part and wrote the most BRILLIANT re-cap.
Someone needs a Pulitzer, maybe even two.

*Oh and when I say not amused I'm saying having Dr. Sanjay Gupta tell me about the plight. Andy Coop faux sad makes me stomach turn. Just saying.
Eww chile! Have you heard and seen the new Xtina track, "Ain't No Other Man"? My girl has done dropped and got her eagle on. And see, just in time for Pride 2006...yippee!
After watching that sad, sad Britney interview last week*...where lil' darling busted out her best Forever 21/Wet Seal ensemble and distracted me with that clumped up fake eyelash (my feeling were truly hurt)...it was nice to see an old skool pop princess show em what she's working with. And praise Jesus sans Wal-Mart flip-flops...
Trick, I'm scurred of you. I can't wait for Candis Cayne to work this number OUT!

*And no, I'm not going to blog about this cause it was just that retarded. Matt Lauer needs a medal. That poor, poor brotha.
I'm going to see Radiohead tonight. Please, don't hate me cause I'm beauteeful. Hate me cuz I got crazy lucky!
After the tears of joy I shall recap tomorrow.
Blessings.
Okay, i'm actually working now so I can't get my pithy on but I just want to quickly say this.
Went to see KG last night...the first day of her three night sold out stint at the Nokia Theater. I'm so proud.
The gays were representing!
She made a joke about Oprah beating Gayle and them being in a dyfunctional lesbian relationship.
I lost my shit.
I need to have brunch with that bitch.
I'll come back for more. She deserves the space.
For the hope of unintentional comedy gold. It has been achieved here.

Enjoy!
Did I tell y'all I saw the Miss Leela on Tuesday? Did you say no honey? Oh well let me just break it down real quick like.
Homegirl came out on stage--at the Irving Plaza--like it was catfish and cornbread night at the revival. Here album, A Change is Gonna Come, is pretty darn good, her live show...too much! It was like having Mahalia Jackson, Aretha Franklin and a touch of Millie Jackson wrapped up in a lovely little package and given to you for Chaka Kwannza...it was that good.
She shook, she shimmed, sang and shouted and it gave me hope for the state of music...black music at that! I was so proud. She even broke it down towards the end of her set about just trying to be positive and not letting anyone break her down...and dammit she told us to do the same. Tear rolling down my wee mahogany cheek.
So this is what I'm telling you: If you have not already done so pick up her album and if you love the BK check her out at Prospect Park in July--for free*. Check out the schedule.
Keep on keeping on.

*Okay, they ask for a 3 dolla donation but that is pretty much free...don't trip.
My dear friends Ry Ry Ingrasin and Jason J. Blige alerted me of two lovely covers of "Crazy". One by Ray Lamontagne and the other by Nelly Furtado. For real, I'm so not mad at this. Enjoy friends!
